Local residents win big during St. Jude Dream Home® Giveaway, help to raise $830,800 for hospital
Bakersfield, CA (July 26, 2010) – Jesus Mendoza of Bakersfield, CA is the grand prize winner of a newly-built, 4-bedroom 2.5-bathroom house announced during the 8th Annual St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway Special, which raised $830,800 for the kids of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
Leonard Sanoian of Bakersfield, CA is the winner of the Early Bird Prize, a newly-built 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house! The winning tickets were pulled during the ABC 23 live special on Sunday, July 25th.
The houses were built by Lenox Homes with support from various local suppliers and housing subcontractors. St. Jude patients, Elizabeth Lobato, Chase Burch, and Brooke Renaud drew the winners of 19 other prizes.

Founded by Danny Thomas in 1962, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital has treated more than 20,000 young cancer patients at no cost to their families.
